Overview:
Remember the winner in the championship division recieves an automatic berth in the players amateur.
Championship Division :
The prestigious HHIAGA Amateur Championship will be contested over 54 holes of medal play ( no cut ) . We found last year that the Legends course is a perfect venue for our championship due to the condition, speed of the greens and the many risk vs reward holes. Last year the final group came to the eighteenth with the possibility of 7 individuals still in the hunt and truly a magnificent up and down by Bubba Jacoby gave him the victory. Tee times will start at 2:30 on Friday and 11:00 on Saturday and Sunday.
Senior Division :
This tournament and venue will also produce the 2017 Senior HHIAGA Champion.....the difference being it will be contested over 36 holes and will be gross winner only, however there will still be a net division for prizes. depending on number of senior net division participants . July 8 & 9 with tee times starting at 11:30.
Net Division :
Like the Senior Division there will be a net Championship HHIAGA winner for 2017 contested over 36 holes of net medal play. Played July 8 & 9 with tee times starting at 11:30
Buffet lunch at the awards presentation will be served on Sunday July 9 with all gift certificates and trophies awarded. Practice rounds will be available the week of the tournament by calling the pro shop at (843) 228-2240.
